We partnered with local Citizens Advice organisations in the UK to provide healthcare workers and communities with free advice and support from Experian experts.
· 36% of people in the UK worry about their finances every day.
· One in five say that talking about finances makes them feel stressed.
We partnered with local branches of Citizens Advice – an independent organisation specialising in confidential information and advice to assist people with problems such as debt – to help ease anxiety around finances through free advice sessions led by Experian volunteers.
Money clinics for health workers
We ran a series of in-person and online money clinics specifically for National Health Service (NHS) workers to offer advice on how to budget, manage debt, apply for credit and improve credit scores.
The first ten clinics reached hundreds of health workers in England and Northern Ireland and we’re planning to roll these out further.
· 400+ NHS workers reached through the first ten Money Clinics
· Two in three people in the UK find dogs comforting and say pets make them feel less stressed.
Volunteers from our regional operational headquarters in Nottingham ran a ‘Credit Paws Café’ for local communities. At our pop-up café, we encouraged people to open up about their financial concerns and seek advice through informal sessions with dogs there to help them relax.
· 80 one-to-one advice sessions with local people at the Credit Paws Café
