Franklin, Tenn., June 15, 2016 — Experian Health, the healthcare industry leader for automating, integrating and innovating the patient payment and care experience, today announced that it has risen to 45 on the 2016 Healthcare Informatics (HCI) 100 list, an annual ranking of the top 100 health information technology (HIT) companies based on HIT revenues from the most recent fiscal year.
“Our approach to the healthcare market continues to evolve to meet the challenges and need for transformation in the industry,” said Jennifer Schulz, group president, Experian Vertical Markets. “Our growth, innovative offerings and advancement in the HCI 100 confirm the value of our focused practice.”
The HCI 100 is a complete look at the top 100 revenue-earning companies in the industry, eligible to any company that can identify HIT-based revenues. To formulate the list, the HCI editorial staff worked with two market research and analysis companies: Porter Research (Atlanta, Ga.) and ST Advisors LLC (San Francisco, Calif.). The sales figures were submitted, compiled, reviewed and estimated, if necessary, by Porter Research, which ensured that deserving companies were included in the list.
“Healthcare Informatics has their finger on the pulse of the most significant trends currently impacting the health IT landscape,” said Scott Bagwell, president of Experian Health. “I am pleased that Experian Health’s provision of industry-leading revenue cycle management, identity management, patient engagement and population wellness solutions have continued to earn us recognition in this prestigious HIT industry ranking year after year.”
