Nottingham, 11 December 2012 — Experian®, the global information services company, today announced the appointment of Andy Marshall as Director of Sales, Credit Services, Experian UK&I.

In his new role, Andy will be responsible for the strategic development and growth of the Credit Services sales organisation. His key focus will be on maintaining and building client relationships and driving the sales of Experian’s market-leading products and services. Andy will be building upon existing expertise within the organisation and helping to facilitate expansion of the business.

Andy’s primary experience is focused on enhancing the sales operations, delivering revenue growth and driving the promotion of new products and services.  This has been gained in a variety of sales and general management roles at companies that include Sainsbury’s, Coca-Cola and Energis. Andy joins Experian from LexisNexis UK where he worked for six years, modernising and repurposing its sales organisation, playing a significant role in moving it from a publishing information provider to an IT solutions provider.

Paul Vescovi, Managing Director of Experian’s UK&I Credit Services business, says: “Andy’s extensive knowledge in previous roles of transforming sales operations means that he is ideally placed to drive forward exciting new plans for Experian in 2013 and beyond. His experience in maintaining client relationships and implementing training programmes will play a key role in helping us build on the market leading position that our Credit Services business currently holds in the UK.  We are excited about him joining the team.”
