Experian Shows Its Commitment To Customers At Vision 2010 Conference

Conference to help clients succeed and thrive in today’s challenging financial environment

Costa Mesa, Calif., April 29, 2010 — Experian®, a global information services company, today announced it will hold its industry-leading Vision Conference on May 2 to 5, 2010, at the Wild Horse Pass Resort in Phoenix, Ariz. At the sold-out conference, Experian plans to address the challenges in today’s new economic and regulatory environment and provide real-world solutions to the most pressing issues its clients are facing, with compelling guest speakers, industry experts, and valuable studies and analyses.

“The economy has caused such a dramatic change in our industry over the last few years, and our clients have been faced with many hurdles in their paths to success,” said Victor Nichols, chief executive officer of Experian North America. “This year’s conference theme is ‘New strategies for a new reality,’ which we created based on resounding feedback from clients that they have changed the way they do business. As a dedicated partner, we wanted to address our clients’ needs with insightful studies as well as innovative tools and resources to show our commitment to helping them succeed.”

The Vision 2010 Conference will include a total of 80 breakout sessions in tracks on a full spectrum of topics for the attendees, which represent various segments of the financial services industry, including credit unions, collections, utilities, telecommunications, technology, insurance, automotive, manufacturing, mortgage, ecommerce, government and banks of all sizes. Tracks will focus on prospecting and acquisitions, portfolio management and loss mitigation, collections and recovery, fraud prevention, decision strategies, small business and commercial banking, analytics and insight, as well as other hot topics such as new regulations and trends.

“We are expecting our clients — industry experts in risk management, fraud prevention and analytics and more — to gain real-world insight into operating in today’s environment,” said Kerry Williams, group president, Experian Credit Services and Decision Analytics. “We’ve developed a rich and comprehensive set of breakout sessions and will also be releasing five proprietary research studies focusing on the trends around consumer credit, commercial credit and automotive lending. Additionally, we have exceptionally inspiring speakers lined up for our general sessions.”

Along with Experian’s CEO of North America, Victor Nichols, the general sessions will feature two industry visionaries to share their insights with the audience:

  • Malcolm Gladwell — the best-selling author of The Tipping Point, Blink, Outliers and What the Dog Saw. One of Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People.
  • General Colin Powell — 65th Secretary of State and retired Four-Star General. Author of his best-selling autobiography: My American Journey.

Experian also is delighted to announce that Jim Belushi and the Sacred Hearts Band will perform exclusively for Vision 2010 Conference attendees during one of its networking dinners.
