Experian Japan Announces Partnership with Credit Exchange Agency

Experian Japan Announces Partnership with Credit Exchange Agency

May 12, 2010 – Tokyo, Japan – Experian®, the global information services company, announces that it has signed a reseller agreement with Credit Exchange Agency Group (CEA, Representative Director and President Minoru Takeda, headquarters in Chuo-ku, Osaka, Japan). With a 60-year history in the industry, CEA has a nationwide network of branches providing its corporate credit reports in Japan.

Under the arrangement, CEA will now offer Experian’s international business reports to its Japanese clients through its network of resellers in Japan. Experian will also offer CEA’s Japanese company reports to its Asia Pacific clients. Instead of the prepaid system used by most Japanese report businesses, Experian provides a “pay-as-you-go” option that allows clients to buy single reports at a time. This eliminates any up-front payment and subsequent loss of unused charges.

Minoru Takeda, Representative Director and President of the Credit Exchange Agency, commented: “We are excited in starting this relationship with Experian. It is very beneficial for us, since our Japanese reports will be now be available to Experian’s global clients. Likewise, we are happy that we will be able to introduce and promote Experian’s highly valued international business reports to our vast client base. We are confident that this will become a successful partnership that benefits both of our clients based in Japan and overseas.”

Dennis Martin, Credit Services Managing Director for Experian Asia Pacific said: “We have struck up a true win-win relationship. Thanks to Credit Exchange Agency, many customers in Japan can now obtain Experian’s valued reports through their usual supplier. With the addition of CEA’s business reports, we can serve the whole Asia Pacific with high quality, bilingual Japanese business reports.”
