Experian appoints Head of Insurance for UK & Ireland

Nottingham, UK, 26 August  2010 — Experian®, the global information services company, today announces the appointment of Sandy McPherson as Head of Insurance for UK and Ireland.

Sandy will be responsible for driving Experian’s insurance market strategy across the organisation’s broad portfolio of products and services.

Sandy brings over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry to his new role. In the past he has worked with leading insurance companies, such as Aviva, Standard Life, and Scottish Widows, and for the last three years was Marketing Director at Paymentshield, the largest provider of general insurance to the intermediated mortgage sector.
