Artez Interactive and Experian QAS Combine Address Verification with Online Fundraising

Real time address verification integration designed to increase effectiveness of fundraising campaigns

Boston, Mass., Feb. 8, 2010 — Experian® QAS®, a leading provider of address verification software and services, and Artez Interactive, a leading provider of online fundraising solutions for charities, today announced the release of QAS for Artez. Artez clients can now easily couple address verification with their online fundraising services to improve donor communication and reduce administrative costs.

The new integration ensures that every address taken is correct, complete and formatted in real time with minimal change to the donor experience in the Artez environment. By preventing errors from entering their databases, organizations can increase the usefulness of captured donor information and reduce rework of incorrect contact data, increasing the effectiveness of their fundraising efforts.
“Addresses collected online are often the worst files in a database,” said Joel Curry, COO of Experian QAS. “Donors are often in a hurry filling out online forms and enter incorrect information. By safeguarding address data against these types of errors, organizations will enhance the value of their Artez application.”

“Surprisingly, many of our customers are faced with fraudulent donations,” said Philip King, president and CEO of Artez Interactive. “We envision this integration not only improving donor data quality, but also providing an additional layer of protection from fraudulent donation attempts.”

QAS for Artez is accredited for both domestic and international addresses and is available for immediate deployment.
